Welcome to the Pediatric Health Literacy Project!

Our website is meant to be a proof of concept, dedicated to improving pediatric health literacy by providing accessible and easy-to-understand health information for children. We understand that medical jargon can be confusing and intimidating, especially for young patients, and we believe that every child should have access to clear and reliable health information. Our website is designed to be user-friendly and interactive, allowing children to learn about their health in a fun and engaging way. We use grade-level appropriate language to ensure that children can understand the information presented to them.

We believe this is the very first AI-powered pediatric health literacy tool. The outputs originally came from OpenAI's ChatGPT-3.5 and were verified and edited by medical professionals. Thank you for choosing our website as one of your sources for pediatric health information. We are committed to providing high-quality, accessible, and engaging health information for children. While we have tried our best to ensure all the information is accurate, but please do not use this information as a guideline. Please discuss all plans with a doctor.

This project was created by Kanhai Amin, a Yale undergraduate student, with the help of Rushabh Doshi, Dr. David Skaggs, and Dr. Linda Mayes.

We do not take any responsibility for any incorrect information.
